Drop-in Art Club
Age 1 to Grade 6
Children aged 1 to Grade 6 are welcome to join us Thursdays from 5:45 to 6:45 pm for a drop-in program led by a professional artist who designs the evening especially for our youngest members.
All are welcome to come by the Youth Room on the lower level for an evening of fun, creativity and connection. Parents are asked to remain on-site during the program. Children should dress for art-making.
Grade 7 to 12
Youth Group meets Thursday evenings, September to June, in the Youth Room from 6:45 to 8:00 pm. Youth Group offers age-appropriate learning activities, events, games and artistic expression to help youth explore and express their spirituality during this transitional period of life.
Grade 9 to Young Adult
Older youth and young adults are welcome to drop in to Stewart East Hall on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for a time of playing basketball with peers. The program is a space for young people to play a number of organized games on a full-size court with the support of a referee and other facilitators. Further, the program is designed to be a safe space to socialize with friends, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and have fun.
Families are always welcomed, whether in worship or an event. Our events are family friendly and provide toddlers, children, and youth with activities and crafts that are inclusive and fun for the whole family. Events such as the Pancake supper, Giving Garden, and Light Up the Night, are times for families to socialize and grow with the Islington United faith family community. Please refer to the events list to learn what’s happening next.
