Sunday Worship Service - January 29, 2023 at 10:30 am

WELCOME

Dear Friends,

This week we move through Sarah Jewell’s Alphabet of Faith to O is for Outcasts and Oddballs – knowing there is a place for all of us in this community.

I am looking forward to sharing worship leadership with Dr. John Derksen. We will be celebrating Communion together, and remembering that

…we are all yearning to say yes to something.

What is it that we are hungry for,
and yearning to say yes to,
that makes all of us outcasts and oddballs,
that makes us sit down at the table with everyone else,
that makes us create the kin-dom of God here on earth?
(Sara Jewell, Alphabet of Faith, 152)

See you Sunday.

God bless,

Rev. Maya

In Person

You may sit anywhere you wish without restrictions. When attending worship during this busy season, we encourage you to wear a mask. As a community of caring, we wear a mask to protect others who may be more vulnerable than ourselves.

Consider keeping a mask handy when you engage in conversation with someone else. If you’re feeling unwell, we encourage you to please care for yourself at home and join us online.

If you want to wear a mask and forgot to bring yours, we will have masks available at the entrances to the Sanctuary.
