They free us from the negative news that can weigh us down\, and they help us look up with hope. As a community that is trying its best to follow in the way of Jesus\, one way to do that is by taking part in a prayer-filled week where we are invited to sink into God’s Word. Our annual Week of Guided Prayer begins on Sunday\, March 22 and continues to Sunday\, March 29. The 2026 theme is Woven with God’s Love – and this year’s daily readings will help you pay attention to the threads of love that God has woven into the tapestry of our lives.\nWeek of Guided Prayer is coordinated by Joanne Stenerson and Dale Kucharczyk\, under the leadership of Rev. DESCRIPTION:Would you like to learn more about listening to others as you both listen to God? \nCould God be nudging you to serve as a Companion for our upcoming Week of Guided Prayer? \nIf you’ve experienced a time of Guided Prayer at Islington United Church or elsewhere\, becoming a Companion may be on your 2025 list of new experiences. Or perhaps you’ve served as a Companion and want to refresh those skills.
