Generous God, your patience with us is bottomless.

You invite us to your abundance

To “love people and use things”

To give generously and not begrudge what we share,

To engage gratitude and not guilt,

To notice our place in the world and not take up too much room.

To wrestle with Jesus saying “Sell everything you own,

Give the money to the poor, THEN come and follow me.

To walk humble with you while caring for others.

For this audacity we pray, Amen
