Family Dinner

All Families Welcome

On Thursday nights September to June from 5:15pm-5:45pm, families are welcome to join us for dinner in Stewart East Hall. Please let us know about your dietary restrictions and allergies.

This is a great opportuntiy to get to know other families in the community and avoid the stress of getting to choir practice on time post-dinner.

Youth Group

Grade 7 to 12

Youth Group meets once a month Thursday evenings, September to June, in the Youth Room from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Youth Group offers age-appropriate learning activities, events, games and artistic expression to help youth explore and express their spirituality during this transitional period of life. We also have offsite outings and an annual youth retreat.

Faith Family EVENTS

All Families Welcome

Faith Family Events happen regularly throughout the year. Events like Seedy Sunday, Stone Soup Lunch, Pancake Supper, and Pride BBQ, are just a few opportunity for parents, grandparents, caregivers and children to participate in hands-on activities to explore and grow in faith together and share a meal. These are times for families to socialize and grow with the Islington United faith family community. Please refer to the events list to learn what’s happening next.

Intergenerational Worship

All Ages

Families are always welcome in worship, but we also have dedicated Sundays for children and families to get involved in putting the service together. Our children’s choir often sings, families participate in readings, and sometimes our children prepare a special presentation. These services often take place on specials Sundays like Christmas Eve and Palm Sunday.
