I’m so excited to be On Our Way together this fall. This weekend the choir is having a retreat at the church, singing and preparing to return to the sanctuary on Sunday, and I am involved in Godly Play storytellers training to strengthen our ministry with children and youth each week. 

Looking forward to being with you in worship on Sunday, our Intergenerational Sunday where we are all together to celebrate the Season of Creation and to experience a Blessing of the Backpacks. Bring your book bag, purse, briefcase, backpack for a blessing at the end of the service. Stay to see what’s happening around here, ways we are serving God together, and how you might find a place where the deep need of the world meets your heart’s call.

Following the service there will be a BBQ outside and ice cream in Stewart East Hall. Our volunteer leaders have prepared displays for you to see all of the activities in one walk through – meet them, ask questions, learn more about IUC.  It will be a great way to build community together, see you there,
