Harmony & Humour Barbershop Concert
May 6 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The Islington United Church Music Program is pleased to announce that on May 6 at 7:00 pm we will be hosting, in concert, the award-winning barbershop-style chorus: the Toronto Northern Lights (TNL), under the direction of Andrew Carolan. This 30-voice choir was the 2013 International Chorus Champion of the Barbershop Harmony Society and continues to represent Canada on the international stage. They are a musical force: a concert not to be missed!
TNL will be joined by one of Canada’s leading barbershop quartets: Maple Reserve (formerly the Young Guns) and the evening will be hosted by funny-man Neil Aitchison (Rev. Mark Aitchison’s brother).
Tickets are $32 and available online through Toronto Northern Lights. If you need assistance with purchasing a ticket, please visit the Stewart East Hall after worship on Sunday and connect with the team at the table for support. All proceeds from the concert will be shared by the visiting choir and the Children’s Music program here at Islington United Church.
