We honour, celebrate and aim to engage young people of all ages — from zero to 30 years. Regardless of your age, spiritual journey, relationship with the Spirit (or lack of it), there is a space for you here — a space to ask questions, to stretch, and to grow in faith.
Engaging Families Together
Children and Families
There is something for children of all ages at Islington. We offer Children’s worship on Sundays 52 weeks a year, Children’s Chorus and family dinners, family events and camps, and other opportunities to grow in faith and build community throughout the year.
Godly Play and Toddler Ministry
Sundays 10:30-11:30, Children are welcome to join us in Toddler Ministry or Godly Play during worship for stories, wondering, and play-based learning.
Weekly Family Dinner
Prior to our Children’s Chorus Program on Thursday nights, families are welcome to join us for dinner from 5:15pm-5:45pm in Stewart East Hall.
Children's Chorus
Children age 6+ are welcome to join us in learning choral singing, vocal technique, and music appreciation through this program. Our program has programming for all levels. Rehearsal are Thursday nights from 5:45pm-6:45pm and performances are select Sunday mornings and Special Holiday performances. In fall 2025, we will be working on a Christmas Musical with our children’s chorus. Register below.
All Ages Board Game Cafe
Once a month, we host an all-ages Board Game Cafe 6:30pm-8:30pm. Join us in the youth room and check our events page for dates.
Fostering Personal & Spiritual Growth
Youth
Youth in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to join us for youth group throughout the school year, participate in intergenerational worship services, and social events with our partners through Etobicoke United Youth. We also look forward to our Annual Winter Youth Retreat, a highlight of our program.
Youth Group
Sunday mornings during worship, youth grades 6-12 are invited to join us for discussion, snacks, and fun. We will spend time planning events and projects as a group, playing games, and discussing the sermon.
Winter Youth Retreat
Our Annual Winter Youth Retreat is our highlight of the year! This year we will be attending Worshiplude in Ottawa in early February.
Summer Camp Leadership Training
Students enter grade 10-12 can join of Summer Music Camp as a Leader In Training. This program provides mentorship from leaders, opportunities to gain leadership experience, and volunteer hours, feildtrips, and a chance to learn a musical instrument!
Etobicoke United Youth
Etobicoke United Youth is our local network of united churches that host monthly social events for our youth groups at one of our churches or offsite. We aim to connect our youth with the wider community. Our partner churches are St. James, Royal York Road, and Humber Valley.
Building Faith and Connections
Young Adults
Adults 18 to 30 years old are invited to our monthly socials for a time of fun and laughter together. We offer a contemporary worship experience monthly called Resonance that brings a relaxed atmosphere and modern worship style to our space.
Young Adult Socials
On the first Sunday of the month, young adults age 18-30 are invited to a social event to participate in an activity together and for a time of fellowship at the church or offsite.
Resonance
Our contemporary worship nights offer a home cooked meal, time to meet one another, and share in worship in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Resonance starts at 5:30pm on the first Sunday of the month October to June.

Christmas Musical "We Knead A Little Christmas"
“We Knead A Little Christmas” is our Children’s Christmas Musical! Children 6+ are welcome to be a part of this exciting show. This show is a fun-filled telling of the Christmas story following a family of bakers in the town of Bethlehem, meaning “House of Bread” as they begin to hear of marvelous events happening in their town. The show features upbeat music, several speaking roles, and a chance for the whole family to get involved. Rehearsals are Thursday Nights starting September 18 from 5:45pm-6:45pm with free dinner served prior to rehearsal at 5:15pm. Family members are welcome to participate on our crews and help prepare for our show during that time as well!
