DESCRIPTION:Canada\, Eh? Something To Sing About! \nCanada\, eh? is the theme of Islington United Church’s 2025 spring fundraising event to be held on Saturday\, May 3. If you’ve been to one of our events in the past you know what a spectacular evening it will be. If you haven’t attended\, you are in for a fun night a fantastic dinner\, cash bar\, entertainment from staff singers and Minister of Music\, Jason Locke\, a Canadian singsong\, trivia\, and so much more! \nThere will be live and silent auctions as well as raffle baskets and plants for sale. If you are able to contribute an item for our event we would be grateful….perhaps a cottage for a few days\, tickets to a sporting event or theatre\, a gift card to a store or restaurant\, or new small items that could go into a gift basket. Contact Val Greenfield (valgreenfield50@gmail.com; 416-500-7360) to make arrangements. Items need to be in by Sunday\, April 20. If you would like to volunteer at the event\, contact Catherine Locke (hospitality@islingtonunited.org). \nTickets (only 128 available) are on sale so talk to your friends and purchase your tickets online or in person Sundays after the service. Tickets are $75 each and include a $40 tax receipt.
