On May 24 – Noisy Sunday – bring your jars back to celebrate with us\, shake your jars\, and make some noise! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n An Opportunity to Know our Children and Youth \n \n \n \n \n \n Inside your jar or envelope is one young person from our community for you to be praying for. You are invited to write notes\, prayers\, encouragements\, or whatever your gift may be\, for this young person and return them with your jar of coins on Noisy Sunday. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n A Celebration! \n\n \n \n \n \n \n Children\, Youth\, and Young Adult Ministry is vital to the future of the church. Join us in celebrating this ministry on May 24th by bringing back your jars and worshipping with our young people and families together! Thank you for your generousity. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n FAQs \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n What if I didn't get a jar?\n If you did not receive a jar or envelope\, you can come by the church office this week to collect one\, or email families@islingtonunited.org for a child to pray for. \n \n \n \n \n \n What if I don't have coins?\n We know many people don’t have many coins these days. You can take an envelope instead and donate cheques or bills. You are also welcome to donate online or e-transfer give@islingtonunited.org noting “Noisy Sunday” in the memo field. \n \n \n \n \n \n Can I get a tax receipt for my donation of coins?\n Yes. If you would like a tax receipt\, please include your name inside your jar or envelope. \n \n \n \n \n \n How can I continue my relationship with the children after Noisy Sunday?\n Noisy Sunday is just the first step to getting to know at least one child in the IUC community by name. We encourage you to say hello to the children you are praying at church\, get to know them\, and pray for them often! Please join us in person or online. Learn more about worship at IUC below or subscribe to our email list to receive our Sunday reminder with details about this week’s service. \nHow to get here: Our accessible entrance is located through the back parking lot doors. Parking is limited so please arrive early and check here for more parking options. Islington United is also walkable from Islington Subway station and has many transit connections. \nChildren and Youth Programming: Each Sunday\, we offer programs for children. We begin worship together in the sanctuary\, and an announcement will be made for children to follow our leaders downstairs. Godly Play is offered for children ages 4-11 and youth group is offered for grades 6-12. Our Family Friendly Area is also available every week in the sanctuary for young ones and families in need of a more relaxed worship space. Families must register before sending their children to our programs. \nNew to IUC?
