Maya brings a care for people, a passion for worship and experiences that transform – and a clear priority that laughter and holy hospitality be known. She loves learning in all forms, and brings that commitment to her work and to life – avid reading, building relationships that matter, and being open to the possibilities of the Holy Spirit and a variety of ways that we can live out our call as Followers of Jesus. Maya is married to Rev. Adam Hanley, and they are parents to four year old Norah Grace Hanley. They and their beagle-basset puppy Sophie make their home nearby in Etobicoke.

She feels privileged to start her ministry at IUC, building on the strong foundations and traditions of music and word that have fed our souls.
