This past weekend, 50 youth and 12 leaders joined us at Medeba Retreat Centre for an unforgettable weekend! Our theme was Testify and we spent time hearing each other’s stories with God and reflecting on how we encounter God through creation, each other, and may other ways. We spent time meeting each other, playing games, doing awesome winter activities, sharing meals, and so much more. Check out this clip to see a bit of our time together!

Our leader Karen Forgrave from St.James United went through the bus on the way home and asked each person to share their top 2 things that they really liked about camp.  It was great to hear the variety of answers – there really was something for everyone, and they agreed that they liked the wide variety of activities that were offered…from foosball tournaments to D&D to game time to the group ice breaker games!

Hot chocolate and food were high on the list too!  Worship and cabin time to make new friends and really connect with each other over the cabin discussion times were also highlighted. Having the campfire and the snowman activity were mentioned by multiple youths as well, and they had fun retelling their “snowmen backstories” to each other on the bus!  The movie was a really fun one last night too!

Our youth made new friendships and look forward to a possible joint event in the future to reconnect. We are grateful for the opportunity to get away and spent time with God and each other.
