In Part 4 of this Easter Series “Knowing Jesus in a New Way,” we wonder with the story of Jesus meeting the disciples in the morning on the beach, when they have been fishing all night and caught nothing. They’ve returned to the familiar fishing grounds of the Sea of Galilee, grieving and tender.  They like us, return to the familiar boat that is safe, secure and comfortable.  They have trust God in order to step out of the boat or throw their nets on the other side.  This one story helps us draw connections to some other key moments in the life of Jesus and his disciples.  Jesus is cooking fish and bread on the beach, a taste of home for the disciples.  For you, I wonder what tastes like home; for God does provide it.
