Sunday Worship Service - January 15, 2023 at 10:30 am

I am so very thankful to everyone who brought the experience of Advent and Christmas to life for the past six weeks. Every person’s part made a difference. As we step out of the mystery of Christmas into this Epiphany time I am on the lookout for some ordinary miracles. Worship helps me notice these in a more intentional way, as does time outside and making space to appreciate what is right in front of me.

This Sunday, Sara Jewell’s M is for Miracle in Alphabet of Faith will guide our worship. We will pause to look at the story of Lazarus in the Gospel of John, Chapter 11. We will bless and welcome Brianna Raakman, our new Children, Youth and Family Ministry Lead, and hear the Children’s Chorus sing.

In all that lies ahead in this new year, let’s remember, “Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you’ll see them all around you” (John Bon Jovi).

Blessings on 2023,

Rev. Maya Landell

In Person

You may sit anywhere you wish without restrictions. When attending worship during this busy season, we encourage you to wear a mask. As a community of caring, we wear a mask to protect others who may be more vulnerable than ourselves.

Consider keeping a mask handy when you engage in conversation with someone else. If you’re feeling unwell, we encourage you to please care for yourself at home and join us online.

If you want to wear a mask and forgot to bring yours, we will have masks available at the entrances to the Sanctuary.

If you choose not to or unable to attend in person, we are very happy to have you join us online. Simply click on the white arrow below at 10:30 am on Sunday morning, or anytime after.
