Blue Christmas Worship Service - December 7, 2022 at 7:00 pm

WELCOME

Please join us at 7:00 pm for Blue Christmas worship service, either in-person in the Sanctuary or online.

As the Seasons of Advent and Christmas come upon us, we know that this time can be especially hard when you are struggling with grief, loss or anxiety. Maybe you just need a time and space to find peace within the hustle and bustle of the season. The Blue Christmas service allows for ALL the emotions of this season to be honoured.

If you aren’t feeling ready to celebrate, this service offers a prayerful time of peace and hope for your tender heart.

Please join us on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:00 pm for the Blue Christmas service. This in-person and online service is a time of quiet contemplation with music, readings and candle lighting.

In-Person

You may sit anywhere you wish without restrictions. When attending worship during this busy season, we encourage you to wear a mask. As a community of caring, we wear a mask to protect others who may be more vulnerable than ourselves.

Consider keeping a mask handy when you engage in conversation with someone else. If you’re feeling unwell, we encourage you to please care for yourself at home and join us online.

If you want to wear a mask and forgot to bring yours, we will have masks available at the entrances to the Sanctuary.

Online

If you choose not to or unable to attend in-person, we are very happy to have you join us online. Simply click below at 7:00 pm on December 7th, or anytime after.

The Quiet Curve of Evening

Throughout the season, as you light your candle at home, may this piece of music, The Quiet Curve of Evening, performed by Andrew Aitchison and Jason Locke, provide comfort and a reminder that you are not alone.
