Seekers Youth Group

Grades 9 to 12 Plus

Seekers Youth Group is a program for youth in high school. We meet weekly in our Youth Room between September and June (check our Church Calendar for specific details). Seekers Youth Group offers age-appropriate learning activities, events, games and artistic expression to help youth explore and express their spirituality during this transitional period of life. Living With Christ

Living with Christ is a special program for Tweens and Teens held each Sunday at 11:15 a.m. to explore faith and culture in our complex world. Living With Christ offers compelling and evocative discussions concerning the role of faith in today’s society from the perspective of teens. Youth Choir

Grades 7 Plus

Islington's Youth Choir is one of our most vibrant and energetic youth groups. If you are between the age of 12 and 18 you should consider joining our Youth Choir. Participating in our Youth Choir will allow you to develop your musical skills and to make an important contribution to our Sunday worship service. It’s also a great way to make new friends and to have a lot of fun. Youth Confirmation

Youth Confirmation is a wonderful opportunity to explore your faith through an in-depth, year-long program. Confirmands attending weekly sessions learn more about their faith and discuss its relevance in today’s world. They are also paired with an adult Church member who participates with them during this special faith journey. The completion of the Confirmation program is celebrated in a special worship service in June where confirmands are welcomed as full members of the Church. Fall Youth Retreat

Islington Fall Youth Retreat is a fun-filled weekend of faith, songs, activities and discussion for all youth in grades 7 to 12. Scouts and Venturers

Since 1914, Scouting has provided an engaging way for young people to learn valuable skills, form strong moral principles and make great new friends. Scouts is a co-ed program for youth age 10 to 14 (meets Wednesdays @ 7:00 p.m.) while Venturers is a co-ed program for youth 14 to 17 (meets Thursday @ 7:30 p.m.). Both programs are designed around a variety of activities based on personal and group interests, emphasizing outdoor and environmental activities, citizenship and community service, leadership and personal development. Individual interest and skills are recognized through an awards system. The GO Project

Youth Program

The GO Project is a unique mission for youth from across Canada in Grade 9 to age 19. The Go Project allows participants to explore their faith and mission by serving in outreach ministries during one of the 11-day sessions held in Toronto, Halifax, Paris, St. John’s, Stratford, and Vancouver!
